Aspirants of Class-IV Posts protest, demand revocation of selection list

The candidates who had submitted application forms for different class 4th posts in the year 2006 in North Kashmir staged a protest demonstration on Monday against the selection list released recently.
“There is no selection on the basis of merit, only a few candidates from the 2014 provisional list are there. The rest of the candidates’ merit is murdered,” said a protester, Naseer Ahmad Bhat.
“The released selection list has more than 100 candidates with only 40 percent in the class eight exam while the criteria was more than 80 percent. The selected candidates are either 4th class fall or 5th class fail, they are the backdoor selections,” the aspirant alleged.
They requested higher authorities to probe the matter
