Application on plain paper are invited from the eligible candidates for the below mentioned position available for a period often months only in a research project entitled “Sustainable management of invasive plants using native insect herbivores in Kashmir Himalayas sanctioned by DST-SERB. Govt. of India. New Delhi.

Qualification:

MSc. Zoology (Entomology) with min. 55% marks

Desirable experience:

Experience in handling & rearing of insect herbivores

Experience in field surveys & sampling of invasive plants Computer Knowledge and experience in biostatisti­cal analysis of data

The applications with full details (Name, qualifications, age, working contact No, email ID, etc) along with die Photostat copies of the relevant documents should reach to the office of the Department of Zoology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar,J&K, by or before 10th Jan, 2021. The emoluments will be as per the guidelines of DST-SERB, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The position is purely temporary and Co-Terminus with the duration of the project.
