J&K Weather Update
A weak Western Disturbance is currently passing over Jammu and Kashmir.
Under its influence, light rain/snow will commence in Kashmir parts from today afternoon (mostly it will start from higher reaches).
Its impact will be maximum over north Kashmir. In plains, light snowfall is possible at a few places with little (less than 2 inches) or no accumulation.
Some areas may not get to see any snowfall.
The forecast is valid from today afternoon to tomorrow evening.
Moderate snowfall is possible in higher reaches of Ganderbal, Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts.
Light to moderate snowfall is also possible in parts of Ladakh (particularly in Kargil district).
Light to moderate rain shower is possible at a few places in Jammu region.
