Mysterious blast in Mendhar Poonch
Poonch: A mysterious blast happened at the August 15 event in the Nar Balakote area of Mendhar area of Poonch district on Monday according to officials said.
A parking vehicle was damaged during the blast, but there was no disruption during the event, with the local Sarpanch Aftab Khan presenting the tricolors during the ceremony at Panchayat Ghar, they said.
No loss of life or injury was reported during the incident, which was a short distance from the venue, they said.
A police officer stated that investigations are underway to investigate the incident. “It was a blunder that was not understood. The nature of the blast and other technical details are being studied.”
