Local opens fire after noticing suspicious movement in Rajouri

A local opened fire after noticing suspicious movement at Muradpur village in Rajouri on late Monday evening.

As per report, a villager of muradpur opened fire from his weapon after he felt suspicious presence of someone at his residence.

“At 7:30pm around when there was no one inside Satpal’s house expect his daughter who was preparing food, she felt someone’s footsteps and bolting the door,

“she rushed outside and on the way met Satpal. She told her father that someone has come in their house and when Satpal saw his panicked daughter, he went along with her to his brother’s house and informed me”, Mr Ranjit Tara a fellow villager said.

“I reached here and phoned SHO sir, who immediately called CRPF, their posse has reached here and they have started a search operation”, he added.

He said that all the family members are scared of this incident because very recently the terror attacks in Dangri, which has claimed 7 lives so far has created a milieu of terror across the region.
