Job Recruitment in SKUAST Kashmir

Applications on plain paper are invited from interested Ex. Sr. Superintending Engineers/Chief Engineers, who have retired from Govt. services for engagement as Consultant in the Estates Division of this University.

The engagement shall be temporary ,purely on contractual basis, initially for a period of six months subject to further extension on the basis of performance of the incumbent& requirement of the University on a consolidated honorarium of Rs. 70,000/- per month.

Interested applicants must have at least a total of ten( 10) years experience in the field of Civil Works, out of which minimum of 03 years should not be below the rank of Senior Superintending Engineer/Chief Engineer.

The applications along with the detailed CV should reach Office of the Registrar, SKUAST-K, Shalimar by or before 10.05.2023.1n case number of applicants is more, University shall follow a definite criteria and shortlist the number of applicants to five(05) only, who shall accordingly be called for interview before the Selection Committee.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Toad as technical supervisor of the Estates Division.

• To conceptualize & formulate projects/DPRs for funding.

To supervise maintenance, repair, installation and construction of the utility services viz water supply, electricity, power, fire protection etc. Any other duties assigned by the Vice-Chancellor from time to time.
