Social Welfare Department of Jammu and Kashmir has invited applications from eligible interested persons for the appointment of Chairperson and Members.

Educational Qualification

Graduation Degree with the following as subjects:

i. Education;

ii. Child health, care, welfare or child development;

iii. Juvenile justice or care of neglected or marginalized children or children with disabilities;

iv. Elimination of child labour or children in distress;

v. Child psychology or sociology; and

vi. Laws relating to children

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 35 years

Maximum Age: 65 Years for Chairperson and 60 years for members as on 1st January of the year in which the advertisement notice is issued (2023).

Interested eligible candidates may apply by filing an Application in the prescribed proforma (annexure attached) along with supporting documents to Social Welfare Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Kashmir, latest by 5:30 pm, 30th of June, 2023.

The hard copy of the application along with documents should be sent through post/speed post to Commissioner/ Secretary, Social Welfare Department, J&K Room No. 2/22, Civil Secretariat, Jammu and Room No. 118, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar and soft copy at e-mail ID: socialwelfare.adm@gmail.com.
