Pakistani Intruder Shot Dead in Samba
A Pakistani intruder was killed in the early hours on Thursday as BSF foiled a infiltration attempt nto this side from across the International Border (IB) in Samba area of Jammu, J&K.
As per sources, the infiltration attempt was scuttled by the alert BSF troops near Mangu Chak Border Out Post (BOP) in the early hours of the day in Samba.
“In the early hours of 1st June 2023, the alert BSF troops noticed a suspicious movement of a person who crossed IB from Pakistan side in Samba area. He was challenged by the troops, but the intruder kept advancing towards border fencing.
The troops fired on him and shot him dead.
Further details are being ascertained”, BSF officials said.
The security personnel has initiated a search operation along the IB in Samba
