Independence Day 2023: Militant hoisted Tiranga at home in J&K

In a rare incident, an ex-militant on Sunday who was an active terrorist of Hizb al-Muhajideen hosted national flag ‘Tiranga’ at his residence in Dachan village of Kashmir’s Budgam district.

As per sources, the man is the resident of  Dachan of Budgam and was an active militant of Hizb. He was awarded a reward of Rs 20 lakh by the govt on his surrender to the security forces.

His mother appealed him to surrender on the occasion of Independence day and he surrendered to the Indian army on his mother plea.
