Applications through offline mode on prescribed format are invited from domicile of J&K for engagement of Coaches/Instructors in the following Sports disciplines at the Districts under PMDP Scheme (Enhancement of sports facilities in J&K) as shown against each

The applicants who fulfil the following eligibility criteria shall apply on the prescribed format duly supported by coaching experience, Sports achievements, Academic/technical qualification certificates, I.D & address proof

Name of the Post : Junior Coach

Total Post : 14

Qualification :

a) Graduate in any discipline or above.
b) Diploma from NIS/SAI or equivalent from recognized Institutes.
c) Preference will be given to National/International medal winner (officially recognized).

Name of the Post : Instructor

Total Post : 31

Qualification :

a) 10+2 or above.
b) Certificate Course or above from NIS/SAI or equivalent from recognized Institutes.
c) Preference to Diploma holder/National representations

Terms and conditions :-

1). The minimum and maximum age on the last date of receipt of application should be 18 and 40 Years respectively. However relaxation shall be accorded in deserving cases upto 01 year subject to condition that candidate has represented in recognized International Competitions.

2) Incomplete application forms without requisite documents shall not be entertained.

3) The engagement is purely temporary and shall not confer any right for regularization.

4) The prescribed eligibility criteria are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle applicant for engagement.

5) Candidates are advised that they should not furnish any particulars that are false or suppress any material information. They are warned that they should in no case alter or otherwise temper with any entry in a document nor they should submit a tempered fabricated document which shall be dealt with in terms of law.

6) The remuneration of the Coach & Instructor is Rs. 3.00 lacs per annum & 2.40 Lacs per year respectively subject to the condition that minimum number of trainees should not be less than 30 regular trainees in any given Sports discipline.

7) Athlete (Coach/Instructor) will be eligible to apply for only one Sports discipline to which that athlete belongs to.

8) Each Centre must strive to have equal ratio of male and female trainees.

9) Identification of talent pool will be done by respective Coach/Instructor in consultation with the respective Divisional Sports Officer of J&K Sports Council.

10) The agreement/MOU will be entered between J&K Sports Council and the engagee before start of coaching.

11) The Scheme would be run for a period of 2 years or till Govt. of India funding is available. The engagement is purely contractual.

12) Minimum academic qualification should not be less than graduation for coaches and 10+2 for Instructors.

13) Criteria for selection of candidates for engagement as coach/instructor will be carried out on following basis through the committee to be constituted for the purpose.
