Praying Azan, Former Police Officer shot dead in Baramulla
Terrorists targeted and fatally shot dead retired police officer, while he was reciting the Azan in a mosque at Gantmulla, Sheeri Baramulla.
Reports said that, officer was identified as Muhammad Shafi Mir resident of Gatmulla Bala Baramulla.
Reports said, terrorists struck while officer was praying Azan in the mosque.
Security forces swiftly cordoned off the area, to nab the attackers.
Police investigation has been launched to unravel the circumstances surrounding the attack and bring the assailants to justice.
