Applications are invited on the prescribed form from the eligible candidates for the temporary posts of Principal/ Lecturers/ Teaching Assistants in (UIET)/ and Lecturers/Teaching Assistants in the various Departments at Main Campus/Directorate/ Offsite Campus for the Academic Session 2018-19 to be engaged on contract basis/ purely as an academic temporary arrangement on a consolidated salary as per University norms in the following subjects so as to reach the Office of the Coordinator, UIET/Director/ Rector/ Concerned HOD on or before 17.10.2018
University Institute of Engineering Technology (UIET)
1. Principal
2. Lecturer/ Teaching Assistant in Engineering Physics
3. Lecturer/ Teaching Assistant in Communication Skills
Main Campus/ Offsite Campuses
Lecturers/ Teaching Assistants in:-
1. Department of Geology
2. Department of Education
3. Department of Statistics
4. School of Biotechnology
5. Directorate of Sports and Physical Education
6. Bhaderwah Campus(MCA and Geography)
Qualification :
For Lecturer
Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant .u r at jk up date s.in.subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii. NET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Lecturers in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, .u r at jk up date s.in.shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/ Institutions.
Important: A candidate will be selected only if he/she is able to score at least 50% marks in each category mentioned above separately.
Principal UIET
Qualification :
Minimum of 10 years teaching and/or research and/or Industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor Or Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/or Research and/or Industry.
In case of research experience good academic record and books/research paper publications/IPR/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members in Selection Committee.
If the experience in Industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, Developing, Planning, executing, analyzing, quality .u r at jk up date s.in.control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications/IPR/patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members in Selection Committee. Flair for Management and Leadership is essential.
In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 10 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered.
