Rajnath Singh likely to visit Jammu on Dec 27

To review current security situation across Jammu and Kashmir, Defence minister Rajnath Singh is likely to visit Jammu on December 27.

Sources said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is likely visiting Jammu on December 27. He will be in Jammu for a day, during which he plans to meet top Army officers at 16 Corps.

Rajnath will also visit Rajouri and Poonch with Army officials, interacting with both troops and civilians. Furthermore, he will conduct a security review meeting at Jammu Raj Bhawan, sources added.

Visit of defence minister comes amid ongoing security operation in Rajouri and Poonch areas.

It is important to mention that, days before 4 soldiers, 3 civilians lost their lives in an ati terror operation in the poonch and Rajouri areas
